Application and registration process for new students

The application process for new students begins in February and ends in June. Parents of prospective students must complete and submit the application within this period. Entry is subject to space and school policies. During this application process, siblings of enrolled students will have priority.

Specific Requirements

Nursery

• Three years of age before September first

• Sphincter control

First Grade Six years of age before September first

• Kindergarten Diploma

General Requirements

• Pass the standardized diagnostic test.

• Interview with the Principal of the level and/or counselor if required.

• Interview with the Admissions Director.

Documentation Required

• Original birth certificate.

• One ID size photograph.

• Original grades or certificate from previous school, with an average greater than

70% in each of the subjects.

• Proof of Conduct stating excellent or very good conduct.

• Two recommendations from teachers. (Only applies to Middle and High School)

Procedure

• Complete the Application located on our Web page, e-mail a copy of the report card

of your son/daughter to registro@internationalschool.hn. You may also visit our

institution to deliver a copy of it.

• After sending and/or delivering the application, a date will be scheduled for an

admission exam. These are usually applied on the last Saturday of each month

beginning in March and ending in June.

• After obtaining a positive result, a date will be given for an interview with the

Admissions Director; he/she will provide more information regarding the enrollment

process.

Registration process for students that are re-enrolling

The registration process for re-entry begins in May and runs until June. Registration is conducted pursuant to a Registration Calendar. It is conducted according to the first letter of last name of each student.

Procedure

• Check the Registration Calendar and adhere to the established date.

• Present the documentation that is sent with the Registration Packet.

The documentation needs to be completely filled out.

• Pay the Annual Registration fee in the Registration Office at the school.

Student registration can only be done in the Registration Office located at the school. Please verify that you have all the required documentation when attempting to pay and register your child.
