International School was part of the VI Annual ABSH Chess Tournament, held in San Pedro Sula at Academia Americana. Six of our best chess players with Mr. Castro (Coach) attended. There were 8 schools in this competition and IST was the only school form Tegucigalpa. Edward Solano from 10th grade won a medal for best game. Our team won 2nd place overall in the tournament and missed first place by a 1 point difference in the Buchholz ranking system after a draw in the Swiss Standard System.
