International School

International School welcomed the month of September with the traditional flag-raising ceremony with all due honors for National Flag Day. Halls and buildings were decorated with flags, releasing a spirit of patriotism among the student body.

Pre-school and Elementary enjoyed and presented an enthusiastic march, lead by a group of honorable cadets from the National Police Academy (NAPO), along with the school´s band.

Middle School and High School also offered their respective honors. Juniors and Seniors dramatized several situations Hondurans might experience on an everyday basis. The 6th graders demonstrated traditional Honduran dance complete with colorful dress and chivalry. They followed with a comprehensive explanation of the colors of the Honduran flag. For International School it is very important to instill student patriotism, love and respect for their country of which they will be the future.
