If elementary meets their goal Mr. Greene will dress up as a mummy and chase students around during recess and lunch!

The overall elementary goal is to read a total of 177,000 minutes!

In order to reach this goal students will have to read a total of:

60 minutes/week in 1st and 2nd grade
100 minutes/week in 3rd grade
125 minutes/week in 4th grade
140 minutes/week in 5th grade

Note: They can read books, magazine articles, the newspaper, books from tumblebooks, etc. Reading information on worksheets and reading novels/basal reader stories in class do NOT count!

The competition ends Friday, Dec. 10.

If we meet our goal, Mr. Greene will turn into a mummy on Monday, Dec. 13.
