International School

My name is Jason Mulla. I worked last year at International School as an English teacher and this year I have the privilege of coordinating the Christian Education Department.

God works in marvelous ways. I came to Honduras 9 years ago as a missionary to plant a church. My wife and I worked pastoring the church for 8 years and last year we passed the church on to other pastors. During my time as a pastor I learned many things about myself and about God. I learned how God takes care and cares for people of all kinds, shapes and sizes. We grew very close to our church family but God called us to move into another area of ministry. After much prayer, my family and I decided to stay in Honduras and I began to work here at International School.

Before I came to Honduras, I worked as a psychologist in the public schools of Texas. I have always loved working with kids and my job allowed me to do just that. However over time I realized what the students needed most was God in their lives. The public schools in the United States do not allow psychologist to speak to students about God in counseling. But here at IST I love the fact that we are able to share God's love with the students and faculty. I get to be part of a huge team of people that are doing just that, presenting God as the answer to life.
